Tigers are among the fiercest animals, and holy-moly, these flowers are just as fierce! Plant this rudbeckia in your border and watch the sass-o-meter skyrocket to unprecedented new heights
The flowers, which bloom from the start of summer until the middle of autumn, consist of a dark brown central cone, surrounded by maroon petals which transition to a bright yellow at their tips
Rudbeckias are very easy to grow (and look after) and make a great plant to help get your kids involved in the garden
Make this plant the sole star of the show by potting it up and featuring it on your patio, or plant multiple individual plants in drifts for a prairie-style planting scheme
If increasing your garden's bee presence is important to you, then this plant is a great choice, having been certified by the RHS as one of its Plants for Pollinators
