With its arching branches, lush foliage in various shades (going from purple all the way through to yellow), deep pink blossoms and charming small crabapples, 'Scarlett' is a variety that's stolen our hearts.
As if those features weren't enough, the flowers are also fragrant to boot, radiating a lovely floral aroma!
Fully hardy, 'Scarlett' will easily withstand what the British winters can throw at it. What's more, it requires little to no pruning and will thrive in a range of soil conditions.
Recognised as one of the Royal Horticultural Society's Plants for Pollinators, crabapple trees are highly valuable to wildlife, such as bees and birds.
The RHS has also awarded 'Scarlett' with its Award of Garden Merit, a sign of its exceptional performance in British gardens.
