Small enough to grow on a patio or balcony, evergreen for year-round interest and, of course, producing a glut of seriously scrummy kumquats, this tree makes a fabulous present.
Known for representing prosperity, with the bright golden/orange fruits evoking wealth in fruit form, kumquats are widely seen throughout the Chinese Lunar New Year celebrations.
A recipient of the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit, the kumquat tree has been recognised as performing particularly well in British gardens.
This kumquat tree will come wrapped in a lovely hessian sheet, tied with a flourish using a stylish bow. This is then packaged inside a premium cardboard box, which also contains a comprehensive care card for the plant.
An ideal plant for a recipient with a light, airy conservatory (or greenhouse) as it needs to overwinter indoors.
